In the fall of 2015, the United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These 17 goals are meant to be achieved by all countries worldwide by 2030.
The maritime sector is familiar with ongoing global challenges, some of which have a direct impact on its operations. Fender manufacturers within this industry are aware of their responsibility in addressing these challenges.
The company has selected two goals to concentrate on from now on and will add more goals in the years to come. Nordic Fender aims to take responsibility and contribute to eradicating poverty, combating inequalities, and halting climate change by 2030.

- Female representation was 0% in 2021, increasing to 25% in 2023 and 40% in 2025
- In 2025, our team consists of 40% women and 60% men, reflecting a balanced workforce.
- We ensure equal rights to maternity and paternity leave.
- We have clear policies for equal pay for equal work.
